Rabbanā ighfir lanā wa li-ikhwāninā alladhīna sabaqūnā bil-īmān, wa lā tajʿal fī qulūbinā ghillan lilladhīna āmanū, rabbanā innaka raʾūfun raḥīm.
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers and sisters who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any resentment toward those who believe. Our Lord, You are truly Most Kind, Most Merciful.
Pray for believers and ask Allah to cleanse the heart from bitterness and hatred.

English meaningI turn my face sincerely to the Creator of the heavens and earth; I am not among those who worship partners with Him. My prayer, sacrifice, life and death belong to Allah, Lord of all worlds, without partner. This is my command, and I am a Muslim. O Allah, You are the King and my Lord; I am Your servant. I have wronged myself and admit my sin. Forgive all my sins; only You forgive them. Guide me to the finest character and turn bad character away from me; only You can do so. I answer Your call and serve You. All good is in Your hands, and evil is not attributed to You. I exist through You and return to You. Blessed and exalted are You.
