Abu Sahl ibn Ziyad kept up night prayer and recitation until his familiarity with the Qur’an was as though it stood before his eyes. Return to it regularly.

A reported dream

Allah praises gatherings of remembrance
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to a gathering of his companions and asked, “Why are you sitting here?” They said, “We are remembering Allah and praising Him for guiding us to Islam and bestowing His favour upon us.” He asked, “By Allah, is that your only reason?” They answered, “By Allah, it is.” He said, “I did not ask you to swear because I suspected you. Rather, Jibril came and told me that Allah, mighty and exalted, speaks of you with pride to the angels.”
Sahih Muslim 2701

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When a child of Adam recites a verse of prostration and prostrates, Satan withdraws crying and says, ‘Woe to him’—in Abu Kurayb’s narration, ‘Woe to me’—‘The child of Adam was commanded to prostrate and did so, and Paradise is his. I was commanded to prostrate but refused, and the Fire is mine.’”
