Protection for Children

أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ

Uʿīdhukumā bi-kalimāti llāhi t-tāmmah, min kulli shayṭānin wa hāmmah, wa min kulli ʿaynin lāmmah.

I seek protection for you both in the perfect words of Allah from every devil, every harmful creature, and every harmful eye.

The Prophet ﷺ used this prayer for al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn, mentioning that Ibrāhīm used it for Ismāʿīl and Isḥāq.

How to use: For one child say “Uʿīdhuka”; for two say “Uʿīdhukumā.”
