Scrupulousness: Ibn Kathir, may God have mercy on him, said: Ibn Hamid al-Warraq, may God have mercy on him, went out to Hajj. When the people were thirsty on the way, he leaned against a rock there in the intense heat. A man came to him with a little water, and Ibn Hamid said to him: Where did you get this? He said: This is not the time for it, drink. He said: Yes, this is the time for it when you meet God Almighty. So he did not drink and died immediately, may God have mercy on him. Etiquette and honorable conduct: On the authority of Al-Zuhri, may God have mercy on him, he said: We used to go to the scholar and what we learned from his etiquette was more beloved to us than his knowledge. [Al-Hilya (its abridgment) 2/23].

Good manners and honorable conduct: Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak, may God have mercy on him, said: Good manners are almost two-thirds of religion. (Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said: Good manners are the whole of religion. Madarij al-Salikin 3/200) [Sifat al-Safwa 4/379].

Etiquette and honorable conduct: On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Sukkari, he said: Dawud Al-Ta’i, may God have mercy on him, had cupping done, and he gave a dinar to the cupper.
