اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazani wal-ʿajzi wal-kasali wal-bukhli wal-jubni wad-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijāli.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry, sorrow, inability, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, debt, and being overpowered by people.

Aʿūdhu bika min sharri samʿī wa sharri baṣarī wa sharri lisānī wa sharri qalbī wa sharri maniyyī.
I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, the evil of my sight, the evil of my tongue, the evil of my heart, and the evil of my semen.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-faqri wa aʿūdhu bika minal-qillati wadh-dhillati wa aʿūdhu bika an aẓlima aw uẓlam.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from poverty, scarcity, and humiliation. I seek refuge in You from committing injustice or suffering injustice.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa ghalabatil-ʿaduwwi wa shamātatil-aʿdāʾ.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from overwhelming debt, from being overcome by an enemy, and from enemies rejoicing at my misfortune.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-kasali wal-harami wal-jubni wal-bukhli wa sūʾil-kibari wa fitnatid-dajjāli wa ʿadhābil-qabr.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, decrepitude, cowardice, miserliness, the hardships of old age, the trial of the Dajjal, and the punishment of the grave.

Hardship on a journey
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ وَالْحَوْرِ بَعْدَ الْكَوْرِ وَدَعْوَةِ الْمَظْلُومِ وَسُوءِ الْمَنْظَرِ فِي الأَهْلِ وَالْمَالِ وَالْوَلَدِ
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min waʿthāʾis-safari wa kaʾābatil-munqalabi wal-ḥawri baʿdal-kawri wa daʿwatil-maẓlūmi wa sūʾil-manẓari fil-ahli wal-māli wal-walad.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, a sorrowful return, decline after a sound condition, the supplication of one who is wronged, and a distressing sight in my family, wealth, and children.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ
Aʿūdhu billāhi min ʿadhābi jahannama wa aʿūdhu billāhi min ʿadhābil-qabri wa aʿūdhu billāhi min sharri al-masīḥid-dajjāli wa aʿūdhu billāhi min sharri fitnatil-maḥyā wal-mamāt.
I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of Hell. I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the False Messiah, the Dajjal. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the trials of life and death.

Heat of the Fire
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرَائِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَرَبَّ إِسْرَافِيلَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Allāhumma rabba jibrāʾīla wa mīkāʾīla wa rabba isrāfīla aʿūdhu bika min ḥarrin-nāri wa min ʿadhābil-qabr.
O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mikaʾil and Israfil, I seek refuge in You from the heat of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.

Trial of the grave

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min fitnatil-qabri wa min fitnatid-dajjāli wa min fitnatil-maḥyā wal-mamāti wa min ḥarri jahannam.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of the grave, the trial of the Dajjal, the trials of life and death, and the heat of Hell.

O Allah, I seek refuge in Your greatness from being seized from beneath me.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ʿilmin lā yanfaʿu wa min qalbin lā yakhshaʿu wa min nafsin lā tashbaʿu wa min duʿāʾin lā yusmaʿ.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not humble itself, a soul that is never satisfied and a supplication that is not heard.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الأَهْلِ وَالْمَالِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ
Allāhumma antas-ṣāḥibu fis-safari wal-khalīfatu fil-ahli wal-māli. Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min waʿthāʾis-safari wa kaʾābatil-munqalab.
O Allah, You are the companion on the journey and the guardian of the family and wealth left behind. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel and a sorrowful return.

Protection from one’s sins
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ،أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allāhumma anta rabbī, lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa anā ʿabduk, wa anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa waʿdika mā istaṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abū’u laka biniʿmatika ʿalayya, wa abū’u laka bidhanbī, faghfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfiru al-dhunūba illā ant.
O Allah, You are my Lord; none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I uphold Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me and confess my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

اللهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ، لا إِلَهَ إِلّا أَنْتَ، أَنْ تُضِلَّنِي، أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لا يَمُوتُ، وَالْجِنُّ وَالْإِنْسُ يَمُوتُونَ
Allāhumma laka aslamtu, wa bika āmantu, wa ʿalayka tawakkaltu, wa ilayka anabtu, wa bika khāṣamtu. Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu biʿizzatika, lā ilāha illā ant, an tuḍillanī. Anta al-ḥayyu alladhī lā yamūt, wa al-jinnu wa al-insu yamūtūn.
O Allah, to You I submit, in You I believe, upon You I rely, to You I turn, and by Your help I contend. I seek refuge in Your might—none has the right to be worshipped except You—from being led astray. You are the Ever-Living who never dies, while jinn and humankind die.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika an aḍilla aw uḍalla, aw azilla aw uzalla, aw aẓlima aw uẓlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala ʿalayya
O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I stray or be led astray, slip or be made to slip, wrong or be wronged, act ignorantly or be treated ignorantly.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْراً
Allāhumma innī as’aluka mina al-khayri kullihi, ʿājilihi wa ājilihi, mā ʿalimtu minhu wa mā lam aʿlam; wa aʿūdhu bika mina al-sharri kullihi, ʿājilihi wa ājilihi, mā ʿalimtu minhu wa mā lam aʿlam. Allāhumma innī as’aluka min khayri mā sa’alaka minhu ʿabduka wa nabiyyuk, wa aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ʿādha bihi ʿabduka wa nabiyyuk. Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-jannata wa mā qarraba ilayhā min qawlin aw ʿamal, wa aʿūdhu bika mina al-nāri wa mā qarraba ilayhā min qawlin aw ʿamal, wa as’aluka an tajʿala kulla qaḍā’in qaḍaytahu lī khayrā.
O Allah, I ask You for every good, immediate and delayed, what I know and what I do not know. I seek refuge in You from every evil, immediate and delayed, what I know and what I do not know. I ask You for the good Your servant and Prophet asked of You, and seek refuge from the evil from which Your servant and Prophet sought refuge. I ask You for Paradise and every word or deed that brings one near it, and seek refuge from the Fire and every word or deed that brings one near it. I ask You to make every decree You ordain for me good.

Allāhumma fatir alsamawat walʾardi, ʿalim alghayb walshahadati, la ʾīlah ʾīlā ʾanta, raba kuli shayʾ wamalikahu, ʾaʿudh bik min shari nafsi, wamin shari alshaytan washirkihi, waʾan ʾaqtarif ʿalā nafsi suʾan ʾaw ʾajurah ʾīlā muslim
O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, there is no deity except You, Lord and King of everything. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, from the evil of Satan and his call to associate partners with You, and from committing evil against myself or bringing it upon a Muslim.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبَّ الأرْضِ وَرَبَّ العَرْشِ العَظِيمِ، رَبَّنَا وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيءٍ، فَالِقَ الحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى، وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنْجِيلِ وَالْفُرْقَانِ، أَعُوذُ بكَ مِن شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيءٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بنَاصِيَتِهِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الأوَّلُ فليسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الآخِرُ فليسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فليسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيءٌ، وَأَنْتَ البَاطِنُ فليسَ دُونَكَ شَيءٌ، اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ، وَأَغْنِنَا مِنَ الفَقْرِ
Allāhumma rabba al-samāwāti wa rabba al-arḍi wa rabba al-ʿarshi al-ʿaẓīm, rabbanā wa rabba kulli shay’, fāliqa al-ḥabbi wa al-nawā, wa munzila al-tawrāti wa al-injīli wa al-furqān. Aʿūdhu bika min sharri kulli shay’in anta ākhidhun bināṣiyatih. Allāhumma anta al-awwalu falaysa qablaka shay’, wa anta al-ākhiru falaysa baʿdaka shay’, wa anta al-ẓāhiru falaysa fawqaka shay’, wa anta al-bāṭinu falaysa dūnaka shay’. Iqḍi ʿannā al-dayna wa aghninā mina al-faqr.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and the exalted throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the date stone, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injeel and the Furqan, I take refuge in You from the evil of all things You shall seize by the forelock (i.e. You have total mastery over). Protection from all directions
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَاليٍ، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، وَاحْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَاليٍ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي
Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-ʿafwa wa al-ʿāfiyata fī al-dunyā wa al-ākhirah. Allāhumma as’aluka al-ʿafwa wa al-ʿāfiyata fī dīnī wa dunyāya wa ahlī wa mālī. Allāhumma ustur ʿawrātī, wa āmin rawʿātī, wa iḥfaẓnī min bayni yadayya wa min khalfī, wa ʿan yamīnī wa ʿan shimālī wa min fawqī, wa aʿūdhu bika an ughtāla min taḥtī.
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O Allah, preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above, and I take refuge with You lest I be swallowed up by the earth.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min jahdi al-balā’, wa daraki al-shaqā’, wa sū’i al-qaḍā’, wa shamātati al-aʿdā’
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, being overtaken by misery, an evil fate, and the gloating of enemies.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَدْمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ التَّرَدِّي، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْغَرَقِ، وَالْحَرَقِ، وَالهْرَمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ يَتَخَبَّطَنِي الشَّيْطَانُ عِنْدَ الْموْتِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ مُدْبِرًا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ لَدِيغًا
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina al-hadm, wa aʿūdhu bika mina al-taraddī, wa aʿūdhu bika mina al-gharaqi wa al-ḥaraqi wa al-haram, wa aʿūdhu bika an yatakhabbaṭaniya al-shayṭānu ʿinda al-mawt, wa aʿūdhu bika an amūta fī sabīlika mudbiran, wa aʿūdhu bika an amūta ladīghā.
