المغفرة والطاعة واليقين
اللهم اغفر لي ما قدمت، وما أخرت، وما أسررت، وما أعلنت، وما أنت أعلم به مني، اللهم ارزقني من طاعتك ما يحول بيني وبين معصيتك، وارزقني من خشيتك ما تبلغني به رحمتك، وارزقني من اليقين ما تهون به علي من مصائب الدنيا، وبارك في سمعي وبصري، واجعلهما الوارث مني، واجعل ثأري على من ظلمني، وانصرني على من عاداني، ولا تجعل مصيبتي في ديني، ولا تجعل الدنيا أكبر همي، ولا مبلغ علمي.
Transliteration
Allāhumma ighfir lī mā qaddamtu, wa mā akhkhartu, wa mā asrartu, wa mā aʿlantu, wa mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī, Allāhumma urzuqnī min ṭāʿatika mā yaḥūlu baynī wa bayna maʿṣiyatika, warzuqnī min khashyatika mā tuballighunī bihi raḥmataka, warzuqnī mina al-yaqīni mā tuhawwinu bihi ʿalayya min maṣāʾibi ad-dunyā, wa bārik fī samʿī wa baṣarī, wajʿalhumā al-wāritha minnī, wajʿal thaʾrī ʿalā man ẓalamanī, wanṣurnī ʿalā man ʿādānī, wa lā tajʿal muṣībatī fī dīnī, wa lā tajʿali ad-dunyā akbara hammī, wa lā mablagha ʿilmī.
English translation
O Allah, forgive what I have done before and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have revealed, and what You know better than I do. O Allah, grant me such obedience to You as will stand between me and disobedience to You, such fear of You as will bring me to Your mercy, and such certainty as will make the calamities of this world easier for me. Bless my hearing and my sight, and preserve them until the end of my life. Let my retribution fall upon whoever wrongs me, and grant me victory over whoever is hostile to me. Do not let my calamity be in my religion, and do not make this world my greatest concern or the limit of my knowledge.

بسم الله ما شاء الله، لا قوة إلا بالله، ما شاء الله كل نعمة من الله، ما شاء الله الخير كله بيد الله، ما شاء الله لا يصرف السوء إلا الله.
In the name of Allah. What Allah wills comes to be; there is no strength except through Allah. What Allah wills comes to be; every blessing is from Allah. What Allah wills comes to be; all good is in Allah’s hand. What Allah wills comes to be; none turns away evil except Allah.

القوة في رضا الله
اللهم إني ضعيف فقو في رضاك ضعفي، وخذ إلى الخير بناصيتي، واجعل الإسلام منتهى رضائي، اللهم إني ضعيف فقوني، وإني ذليل فأعزني، وإني فقير فأغنني، برحمتك يا أرحم الراحمين.
O Allah, I am weak, so strengthen my weakness in what pleases You. Take me by my forelock towards good, and make Islam the utmost object of my contentment. O Allah, I am weak, so strengthen me; I am humbled, so honour me; and I am poor, so enrich me, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

I know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah encompasses all things in knowledge. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self and from the evil of every creature whose forelock You hold. My Lord is indeed upon a straight path.

الحفظ والرحمة
اللهم احرسني بعينك التي لا تنام، واكنفني بكنفك الذي لا يضام، وارحمني بقدرتك علي، لا أهلك وأنت رجائي، فكم من نعمة أنعمت بها علي قل لك عندها شكري، وكم من بلية ابتليتني بها قل لك عندها صبري، فيا من قل عند نعمته شكري فلم يحرمني، ويا من قل عند بليته صبري فلم يخذلني، ويا من رآني على الخطايا فلم يفضحني، أسألك أن تصلي على سيدنا محمد وعلى آل سيدنا محمد كما صليت وباركت ورحمت على سيدنا إبراهيم وعلى آل سيدنا إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد.
Transliteration
Allāhumma uḥrusnī biʿaynika allatī lā tanāmu, waknufnī bikanfika alladhī lā yuḍāmu, warḥamnī biqudratika ʿalayya, lā ahliku wa anta rajāʾī, fa kam min niʿmatin anʿamta bihā ʿalayya qalla laka ʿindahā shukrī, wa kam min baliyyatin ibtalaytanī bihā qalla laka ʿindahā ṣabrī, fa yā man qalla ʿinda niʿmatihi shukrī fa lam yaḥrimnī, wa yā man qalla ʿinda baliyyatihi ṣabrī fa lam yakhdhulnī, wa yā man raʾānī ʿalā al-khaṭāyā fa lam yafḍaḥnī, asʾaluka an tuṣalliya ʿalā sayyidinā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli sayyidinā Muḥammadin kamā ṣallayta wa bārakta wa raḥimta ʿalā sayyidinā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli sayyidinā Ibrāhīma innaka ḥamīdun majīd.

O Allah, guard me with Your eye that does not sleep, shelter me in Your protection that cannot be violated, and have mercy on me by Your power over me. I will not perish while You are my hope. How many blessings You have bestowed upon me for which my thanks to You were small, and how many trials You have tested me with in which my patience for You was small. O You who did not deprive me when my gratitude for Your blessing was small; O You who did not abandon me when my patience in Your trial was small; O You who saw me committing sins and did not expose me: I ask You to bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad, as You bestowed blessings, blessing, and mercy upon our master Abraham and the family of our master Abraham. الإعانة والحفظ والمغفرة
اللهم أعني على ديني بدنياي، وعلى آخرتي بتقواي، واحفظني فيما غبت عنه، ولا تكلني إلى نفسي فيما حضرت معه، يا من لا تضره الذنوب، ولا تنقصه المغفرة، هب لي ما لا ينقصك، واغفر لي ما لا يضرك.
Transliteration
Allāhumma aʿinnī ʿalā dīnī bidunyāya, wa ʿalā ākhiratī bitaqwāya, waḥfaẓnī fīmā ghibtu ʿanhu, wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī fīmā ḥaḍartu maʿahu, yā man lā taḍurruhu adh-dhunūbu, wa lā tanquṣuhu al-maghfiratu, hab lī mā lā yanquṣuka, waghfir lī mā lā yaḍurruk.
English translation
O Allah, help me in my religion through my worldly life, and in my Hereafter through my righteousness. Protect me in what I am absent from, and do not leave me to myself in what I am present for. O You whom sins do not harm and whom forgiveness does not diminish, grant me what does not diminish You and forgive me for what does not harm You.

الفرج والعافية
اللهم إني أسألك فرجا قريبا، وصبرا جميلا، وأسألك العافية من كل بلية، وأسألك دوام العافية، وأسألك الغنى عن الناس، وأسألك السلامة من كل شر، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innī asʾaluka farajan qarīban, wa ṣabran jamīlan, wa asʾaluka al-ʿāfiyata min kulli baliyyatin, wa asʾaluka dawāma al-ʿāfiyati, wa asʾaluka al-ghinā ʿani an-nāsi, wa asʾaluka as-salāmata min kulli sharrin, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāhi al-ʿAliyyi al-ʿAẓīm.

O Allah, I ask You for relief that is near and beautiful patience. I ask You for well-being from every affliction. I ask You for lasting well-being. I ask You for independence from people. اللهم فارج الهم، كاشف الغم، مجيب دعوة المضطرين، رحمن الدنيا والآخرة ورحيمهما، أنت ترحمني فارحمني رحمة تغنيني بها عن رحمة من سواك.
O Allah, Reliever of worry, Remover of distress, Answerer of the prayers of the distressed, the Most Merciful of this world and the Hereafter and the Especially Merciful in both: You show me mercy, so show me mercy that makes me independent of the mercy of anyone besides You.

الفرج والمخرج والرزق
اللهم اجعل لي من كل هم يهمني فرجا ومخرجا، وارزقني من حيث لا أحتسب. يا سابق الفوت، ويا سامع الصوت، ويا كاسي العظام بعد الموت، صل على سيدنا محمد وعلى آل سيدنا محمد، واجعل لي من أمري فرجا ومخرجا، إنك تعلم ولا أعلم، وتقدر ولا أقدر، وأنت عالم الغيوب.
Transliteration
Allāhumma ijʿal lī min kulli hammin yahummunī farajan wa makhrajan, warzuqnī min ḥaythu lā aḥtasibu. Yā sābiqa al-fawti, wa yā sāmiʿa aṣ-ṣawti, wa yā kāsiya al-ʿiẓāmi baʿda al-mawti, ṣalli ʿalā sayyidinā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli sayyidinā Muḥammadin, wajʿal lī min amrī farajan wa makhrajan, innaka taʿlamu wa lā aʿlamu, wa taqdiru wa lā aqdiru, wa anta ʿallāmu al-ghuyūb.
English translation
O Allah, grant me relief and a way out of every worry that concerns me, and provide for me from where I do not expect. O You who act before an opportunity is lost, O Hearer of the voice, O You who clothe the bones after death: bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad. Grant me relief and a way out of my affairs. You know and I do not know, You have power and I do not have power, and You are the Knower of all unseen things.

تفريج ما أهم
اللهم إنك تعلم سري وعلانيتي وما نزل بي، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بك، يا الله، يا علي، يا عظيم، فرج عني ما أهمني، وتول أمري بلطفك، وتداركني برحمتك وكرمك، إنك على كل شيء قدير.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innaka taʿlamu sirrī wa ʿalāniyatī wa mā nazala bī, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bika, yā Allāhu, yā ʿAliyyu, yā ʿAẓīmu, farrij ʿannī mā ahammanī, wa tawalla amrī biluṭfika, wa tadāraknī biraḥmatika wa karamika, innaka ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.

O Allah, You know my secret and my public affairs and what has befallen me. There is no power and no strength except through You. Allāhumma innī astaghfiruka wa atūbu ilayka, wa atawakkalu fī kulli al-umūri ʿalayka, astaghfiruka mina adh-dhanbi alladhī aʿlamu, wa mina adh-dhanbi alladhī lā aʿlamu, innaka taʿlamu wa anā lā aʿlamu, wa anta ʿallāmu al-ghuyūbi, wa ghaffāru adh-dhunūbi, wa sattāru al-ʿuyūbi, wa kashshāfu al-kurūbi, wa ilayka al-maṣīr.

O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness, turn to You in repentance, and rely upon You in all affairs. I seek Your forgiveness for the sin I know and the sin I do not know. You know and I do not know. Allāhumma farrij ʿannī mā ḍāqa bihi ṣadrī, wa ʿīla maʿahu ṣabrī, wa qallat fīhi ḥīlatī, wa ḍaʿufat lahu quwwatī, yā kāshifa kulli ḍurrin wa baliyyatin, yā ʿālima kulli sirrin wa khafiyyatin, yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīna, wa ufawwiḍu amrī ilā Allāhi inna Allāha baṣīrun bil-ʿibādi, wa mā tawfīqī illā billāhi ʿalayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbu al-ʿarshi al-ʿaẓīm.

O Allah, relieve what has constricted my chest, exhausted my patience, left me with little means, and weakened my strength. O Remover of every harm and affliction, O Knower of every secret and hidden thing, O Most Merciful of the merciful. I entrust my affairs to Allah; Allah sees His servants. انتظار الفرج واللطف
اللهم إني أنتظر فرجك، وأرقب لطفك، صل على سيدنا محمد وآل سيدنا محمد، وفرج عني، وألطف بي، ولا تكلني إلى نفسي ولا إلى أحد من خلقك طرفة عين ولا أقل من ذلك، يا جبار السموات والأرض، لا إله إلا أنت.
Transliteration

O Allah, I await Your relief and look for Your kindness. Bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad. Relieve me and show me kindness, and do not leave me to myself or to any of Your creation for the blink of an eye or less than that. O Compeller of the heavens and the earth, there is no god but You.

الجوار من شر الخلق
اللهم رب السموات السبع وما أظلت، ورب الأرضين وما أقلت، ورب الشياطين وما أضلت، كن لي جارا من شر خلقك كلهم جميعا، أن يفرط علي أحد منهم أو أن يبغي، عز جارك، وجل ثناؤك، ولا إله غيرك، لا إله إلا أنت.
Transliteration

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they shade, Lord of the earths and what they carry, and Lord of the devils and those they mislead: be my Protector from the evil of all Your creation, lest any of them act excessively against me or wrong me. Mighty is Your protection, exalted is Your praise, and there is no god besides You. There is no god but You.

English translation
O Allah, to You belongs abundant praise, everlasting with Your everlasting existence. To You belongs praise that has no end short of Your knowledge. To You belongs praise that has no end short of Your will. To You belongs praise whose speaker has no reward but Your pleasure. O Allah, every atom of our being praises You and thanks You, filling the heavens and the earths, from eternity past to eternity future, as numerous as everything known to You.

O Allah, bestow upon our master Muhammad a blessing through which You deliver us from all terrors and afflictions, fulfil all our needs, purify us of all misdeeds, raise us to the highest ranks, and bring us to the furthest goals of all good things in life and after death; and upon his family and companions, and grant peace.

Transliteration
Allāhumma innā nasʾaluka khayra hādhā al-yawmi wa khayra mā fīhi wa khayra mā baʿdahu, wa naʿūdhu bika min sharri hādhā al-yawmi wa sharri mā fīhi wa sharri mā baʿdahu, Allāhumma akrim hādhihi al-ummata al-Muḥammadiyyata bijamīli ʿawāʾidika fī ad-dārayni kamā akramtahā wa jaʿaltahā min ummatihi ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam.

O Allah, we ask You for the good of this day, the good within it, and the good after it. We seek refuge in You from the evil of this day, the evil within it, and the evil after it. O Allah, honour this Muhammadan community with Your beautiful customary favours in both abodes, as You have honoured it and made it part of his community, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

اللهم أنت مالذنا فبك نلوذ، وأنت
اللهم أنت ملاذنا فبك نلوذ، وأنت عياذنا فبك نعوذ، يامن ذلت له رقاب الجبابرة، وخضعت له هامات الفراعنة، أجرنا من خزي الدنيا وعذاب الآخرة.
Transliteration
Allāhumma anta malādhunā fabika nalūdhu, wa anta ʿiyādhunā fabika naʿūdhu, yā man dhallat lahu riqābu al-jabābirati, wa khaḍaʿat lahu hāmātu al-farāʿinati, ajirnā min khizyi ad-dunyā wa ʿadhābi al-ākhirah.
English translation
O Allah, You are our shelter, so in You we take shelter. You are our refuge, so in You we seek refuge. O You before whom the necks of tyrants have bowed and the heads of pharaohs have humbled themselves, protect us from the disgrace of this world and the punishment of the Hereafter.

نستغفر الله العظيم الذي لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم غفار الذنوب ذا الجلال والإكرام ونتوب إليه، من جميع المعاصي كلها والذنوب والآثام، ومن كل ذنب أذنبناه، عمدا أو خطأ، ظاهرا وباطنا، قولا وفعلا، في جميع حركاتنا وسكناتنا وخطراتنا وأنفاسنا كلها دائما أبدا سرمدا، من الذنب الذي نعلم ومن الذنب الذي لا نعلم، عدد ما أحاط به العلم وأحصاه الكتاب وخطه القلم، وعدد ما أوجدته القدرة وخصصته الإرادة ومداد كلمات الله، كما ينبغي لجلال وجه ربنا وجماله وكماله وكما يحب ربنا ويرضى.
Transliteration
Nastaghfiru Allāha al-ʿAẓīma alladhī lā ilāha illā huwa al-Ḥayya al-Qayyūma ghaffāra adh-dhunūbi dhā al-jalāli wal-ikrāmi wa natūbu ilayhi, min jamīʿi al-maʿāṣī kullihā wadh-dhunūbi wal-āthāmi, wa min kulli dhanbin adhnabnāhu, ʿamdan aw khaṭaʾan, ẓāhiran wa bāṭinan, qawlan wa fiʿlan, fī jamīʿi ḥarakātinā wa sakanātinā wa khaṭarātinā wa anfāsinā kullihā dāʾiman abadan sarmadan, mina adh-dhanbi alladhī naʿlamu wa mina adh-dhanbi alladhī lā naʿlamu, ʿadada mā aḥāṭa bihi al-ʿilmu wa aḥṣāhu al-kitābu wa khaṭṭahu al-qalamu, wa ʿadada mā awjadat-hu al-qudratu wa khaṣṣaṣat-hu al-irādatu wa midāda kalimāti Allāhi, kamā yanbaghī lijalāli wajhi rabbinā wa jamālihi wa kamālihi wa kamā yuḥibbu rabbunā wa yarḍā.
English translation
We seek forgiveness from Allah the Magnificent, besides whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, the Forgiver of sins, the Possessor of Majesty and Honour, and we turn to Him in repentance for all acts of disobedience, sins, and offences; for every sin we have committed deliberately or by mistake, outwardly or inwardly, in word or deed, in all our movements, stillness, passing thoughts, and every breath, continually, forever and ever; for the sin we know and the sin we do not know; as numerous as what knowledge encompasses, what the Book enumerates, and what the pen records; as numerous as what power has brought into existence and what will has specified; and as the ink of Allah’s words, as befits the majesty of our Lord’s face, His beauty and perfection, and as our Lord loves and is pleased with.

O Allah, we are Your servants, the children of Your servants and Your female servants. Our forelocks are in Your hand. Your judgment over us prevails, and Your decree concerning us is just. We ask You by every name belonging to You with which You have named Yourself, or which You have revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the magnificent Qur’an the springtime of our hearts, the light of our sight and insight, the removal of our worries, the lifting of our distress, and our leader and guide to You and to Your gardens, the Gardens of Bliss. O Allah, remind us of what we have forgotten of it, teach us what we do not know of it, and grant us its recitation, memorisation, and practice during the hours of night and the ends of day in a manner that pleases You with us. O Allah, make us among those who regard its lawful things as lawful and its forbidden things as forbidden, act upon its clear passages, believe in its ambiguous passages, and recite it as it should be recited. O Allah, make us among those who uphold its limits, and do not make us among those who preserve its letters but neglect its limits. Make us among the people of the Qur’an, who are Your people and Your special ones, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

اللهم اجعل القرآن لقلوبنا ضياء، وألبصارنا جلاء، وألسقامنا دواء، ولذنوبنا ممحصا، ومن النار مخلصا، اللهم ألبسنا به الحلل، وأسكنا به الظلل، وادفع عنا به النقم، واجعلنا به عند الجزاء من الفائزين، وعند النعماء من الشاكرين، وعند البلاء من الصابرين، ولا تجعلنا ممن استهوته الشياطين، فشغلته بالدنيا عن الدين، فأصبح من النادمين، وفي الآخرة من الخاسرين. اللهم انفعنا وارفعنا بالقرآن العظيم، الذي رفعت مكانه، وأيدت سلطانه، وبينت برهانه، وقلت يا أعز من قائل سبحانه: فإذا قرأناه فاتبع قرآنه، ثم إن علينا بيانه.

Allāhumma infaʿnā warfaʿnā bil-Qurʾāni al-ʿaẓīmi, alladhī rafaʿta makānahu, wa ayyadta sulṭānahu, wa bayyanta burhānahu, wa qulta yā aʿazza min qāʾilin subḥānahu: faʾidhā qaraʾnāhu fattabiʿ qurʾānahu, thumma inna ʿalaynā bayānah.
English translation
O Allah, make the Qur’an a radiance for our hearts, a clarity for our sight, a medicine for our illnesses, a purifier of our sins, and a deliverer from the Fire. O Allah, clothe us through it in robes, house us through it beneath shades, and repel punishments from us through it. Make us through it among the successful at recompense, the thankful in prosperity, and the patient in affliction. Do not make us among those whom the devils have led astray and distracted with worldly life from religion, so that they became regretful and, in the Hereafter, among the losers. O Allah, benefit us and raise us through the magnificent Qur’an, whose standing You have exalted, whose authority You have strengthened, and whose proof You have made clear. You said, O most mighty of speakers, glory be to Him: “When We have recited it, follow its recitation. Then its explanation rests upon Us.”

اللهم ما قسمت في هذه الليلة الشريفة المباركة من خير وعافية وصحة وسلامة وسعة رزق فاجعل لنا منه أوفر الحظ والنصيب، وما أنزلت فيها من سوء وبلاء وشر وداء وفتنة فاصرفه عنا وعن المسلمين، برحمتك ياأرحم الراحمين.

Allāhumma mā qasamta fī hādhihi al-laylati ash-sharīfati al-mubārakati min khayrin wa ʿāfiyatin wa ṣiḥḥatin wa salāmatin wa saʿati rizqin fajʿal lanā minhu awfara al-ḥaẓẓi wan-naṣībi, wa mā anzalta fīhā min sūʾin wa balāʾin wa sharrin wa dāʾin wa fitnatin faṣrifhu ʿannā wa ʿani al-muslimīna, biraḥmatika yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn.
English translation
O Allah, whatever good, well-being, health, safety, and abundant provision You have apportioned on this noble, blessed night, grant us the fullest share of it. Whatever evil, affliction, harm, disease, and trial You have sent down within it, turn it away from us and from the Muslims, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad among the earlier generations, bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad among the later generations, bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad in the highest assembly until the Day of Judgment, and bestow blessings upon our master Muhammad at every time and moment. Through the blessing of sending blessings upon him, make us among the successful, among those who reach his Pool and drink from it, and among those who practise and uphold his way. Do not separate us from him on the Day of Judgment, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

اللهم آت نبينا محمدا صلى الله عليه وسلم الوسيلة والفضيلة، والدرجة العالية الرفيعة، وابعثه اللهم المقام المحمود الذي وعدته، وأوردنا حوضه، واسقنا من يده الشريفة شربة هنيئة مريئة لا نظمأ بعدها أبدا يارب العالمين.
O Allah, grant our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, the special station of nearness, excellence, and the high, exalted rank. Raise him, O Allah, to the praised station You have promised him. Bring us to his Pool, and give us from his noble hand a pleasant, wholesome drink after which we will never thirst, O Lord of all worlds.

اللهم إنا آمنا بنبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ولم نره فلا تحرمنا في الدارين رؤيته وشفاعته على أحسن الأحوال وأتمها وأكملها، وتوفنا على ملته، واحشرنا في زمرته، وتحت لوائه، برحمتك يا أرحم الراحمين.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innā āmannā binabiyyinā Muḥammadin ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama wa lam narahu fa lā taḥrimnā fī ad-dārayni ruʾyatahu wa shafāʿatahu ʿalā aḥsani al-aḥwāli wa atammihā wa akmalihā, wa tawaffanā ʿalā millatihi, waḥshurnā fī zumratihi, wa taḥta liwāʾihi, biraḥmatika yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn.
English translation
O Allah, we have believed in our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, without seeing him. Do not deprive us, in the two abodes, of seeing him and of his intercession in the best, fullest, and most complete circumstances. Cause us to die upon his religion, and gather us in his company and beneath his banner, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

إلهنا ما أحلمك على من عصاك،
إلهنا ما أحلمك على من عصاك، وما أقربك ممن دعاك، وما أعطفك على من سألك، كم أمرتنا فتركنا، ونهيتنا فارتكبنا، وكم من نعمة أنعمت بها علينا قل لك عندها شكرنا، وكم من بلية ابتليتنا بها قل لك عندها صبرنا، فيا من قل عند نعمته شكرنا فلم يحرمنا، ويا من قل عند بليته صبرنا فلم يخذلنا، ويا من رآنا على الخطايا فلم يفضحنا، أدم علينا نعمك وسترك وعافيتك.
Transliteration
Ilāhanā mā aḥlamaka ʿalā man ʿaṣāka, wa mā aqrabaka mimman daʿāka, wa mā aʿṭafaka ʿalā man saʾalaka, kam amartanā fataraknā, wa nahaytanā fartakabnā, wa kam min niʿmatin anʿamta bihā ʿalaynā qalla laka ʿindahā shukrunā, wa kam min baliyyatin ibtalaytanā bihā qalla laka ʿindahā ṣabrunā, fa yā man qalla ʿinda niʿmatihi shukrunā fa lam yaḥrimnā, wa yā man qalla ʿinda baliyyatihi ṣabrunā fa lam yakhdhulnā, wa yā man raʾānā ʿalā al-khaṭāyā fa lam yafḍaḥnā, adim ʿalaynā niʿamaka wa sitraka wa ʿāfiyatak.
English translation
Our God, how forbearing You are towards those who disobey You, how near You are to those who call upon You, and how compassionate You are towards those who ask You. How often You have commanded us and we have neglected it, and forbidden us and we have committed it. How many blessings You have bestowed upon us for which our thanks to You were small, and how many trials You have tested us with in which our patience for You was small. O You who did not deprive us when our gratitude for Your blessing was small; O You who did not abandon us when our patience in Your trial was small; O You who saw us committing sins and did not expose us: perpetuate Your blessings, Your concealment of our faults, and Your well-being upon us.

إلهنا ياموضع كل شكوى، وياسامع كل
إلهنا ياموضع كل شكوى، وياسامع كل نجوى، ياكاشف كل بلية، ياعالم كل خفية، من ذا الذي سألك فحرمته، أو لزم بابك فطردته، أو تملق إليك بإنعامك فقليته، أو لجأ إليك فأسلمته، أو فر إليك فخيبته، اجعلنا ممن دعاك فأجبته، وتضرع إليك فرحمته، وسألك فأعطيته، وتوكل عليك فكفيته، وإلى دار السلام أدنيته.
Transliteration
Ilāhanā yā mawḍiʿa kulli shakwā, wa yā sāmiʿa kulli najwā, yā kāshifa kulli baliyyatin, yā ʿālima kulli khafiyyatin, man dhā alladhī saʾalaka faḥaramtahu, aw lazima bābaka faṭaradtahu, aw tamallaqa ilayka biʾinʿāmika faqalaytahu, aw lajaʾa ilayka faʾaslamtahu, aw farra ilayka fakhayyabtahu, ijʿalnā mimman daʿāka faʾajabtahu, wa taḍarraʿa ilayka faraḥimtahu, wa saʾalaka faʾaʿṭaytahu, wa tawakkala ʿalayka fakafaytahu, wa ilā dāri as-salāmi adnaytah.
English translation
Our God, O Recipient of every complaint, O Hearer of every confidential prayer, O Remover of every affliction, O Knower of every hidden thing: who has asked You and You deprived him, stayed at Your door and You expelled him, sought Your favour through Your blessings and You rejected him, sought refuge in You and You abandoned him, or fled to You and You disappointed him? Make us among those who called upon You and You answered, pleaded to You and You showed mercy, asked You and You gave, relied upon You and You sufficed, and whom You brought near to the Abode of Peace.

إلهنا من نقصد وأنت المقصود، وإلى
إلهنا من نقصد وأنت المقصود، وإلى من نتوجه بالدعاء وأنت الرب المعبود، ومن الذي نسأل وأنت صاحب الكرم والجود، يامن يتوكل عليه المتوكلون، يامن يلجأ إليه الخائفون، وبكرمه وجميل عوائده يتعلق الراجون، ولواسع عطائه وجزيل فضله تبسط الأيادي ويسأل السائلون.
Transliteration
Ilāhanā man naqṣidu wa anta al-maqṣūdu, wa ilā man natawajjahu bid-duʿāʾi wa anta ar-rabbu al-maʿbūdu, wa man alladhī nasʾalu wa anta ṣāḥibu al-karami wal-jūdi, yā man yatawakkalu ʿalayhi al-mutawakkilūna, yā man yaljaʾu ilayhi al-khāʾifūna, wa bikaramihi wa jamīli ʿawāʾidihi yataʿallaqu ar-rājūna, wa liwāsiʿi ʿaṭāʾihi wa jazīli faḍlihi tubsaṭu al-ayādī wa yasʾalu as-sāʾilūn.
English translation
Our God, whom should we seek when You are the One sought? To whom should we turn in prayer when You are the Lord who is worshipped? Whom should we ask when You possess generosity and bounty? O You upon whom those who trust rely, O You in whom the fearful seek refuge, whose generosity and beautiful customary favours the hopeful cling to, and for whose abundant giving and great bounty hands are outstretched and petitioners ask.

إلهنا هل في الوجود رب سواك
إلهنا هل في الوجود رب سواك فيدعى ؟، أم هل في الملأ إله سواك فيرجى ؟، أم هل من حاكم سواك فتدفع إليه الشكوى ؟، إلى من نشتكي وأنت العليم القادر، وإلى من نلتجىء وأنت الكريم الساتر، أم بمن نستنصر وأنت المولى الناصر، أم بمن نستغيث وأنت المليك القاهر، من الذي يجبر كسرنا وأنت للقلوب جابر، من الذي يغفر ذنبنا وأنت الرحيم الغافر، يامن هو عالم بالسرائر والضمائر، يا من هو الأول والآخر، والباطن والظاهر، يا ظهر اللاجئين، يا أمان الخائفين، ياجليس الذاكرين، يامن هو عند قلوب المنكسرين، يامجيب دعاء المضطرين، يارحمن الدنيا والآخرة ورحيمهما أنت ترحمنا فارحمنا برحمة تغنينا بها عن رحمة من سواك.

Ilāhanā hal fī al-wujūdi rabbun siwāka fayudʿā, am hal fī al-malaʾi ilāhun siwāka fayurjā, am hal min ḥākimin siwāka fatudfaʿa ilayhi ash-shakwā, ilā man nashtakī wa anta al-ʿAlīmu al-Qādiru, wa ilā man naltajiʾu wa anta al-Karīmu as-Sātiru, am biman nastanṣiru wa anta al-Mawlā an-Nāṣiru, am biman nastaghīthu wa anta al-Malīku al-Qāhiru, man alladhī yajburu kasranā wa anta lil-qulūbi jābirun, man alladhī yaghfiru dhanbanā wa anta ar-Raḥīmu al-Ghāfiru, yā man huwa ʿālimun bis-sarāʾiri waḍ-ḍamāʾiri, yā man huwa al-Awwalu wal-Ākhiru, wal-Bāṭinu waẓ-Ẓāhiru, yā ẓahra al-lājiʾīna, yā amāna al-khāʾifīna, yā jalīsa adh-dhākirīna, yā man huwa ʿinda qulūbi al-munkasirīna, yā mujība duʿāʾi al-muḍṭarrīna, yā Raḥmāna ad-dunyā wal-ākhirati wa raḥīmahumā anta tarḥamunā farḥamnā biraḥmatin tughnīnā bihā ʿan raḥmati man siwāk.
English translation
Our God, is there any lord besides You in existence to be called upon? Is there any god besides You among creation in whom hope can be placed? Is there any judge besides You to whom complaint can be submitted? To whom should we complain when You are the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful? In whom should we seek refuge when You are the Generous Concealer? From whom should we seek victory when You are the Protector who grants victory? From whom should we seek rescue when You are the Sovereign, the Subduer? Who can mend our brokenness when You are the Mender of hearts? Who can forgive our sin when You are the Merciful Forgiver? يا صاحبي في شدتي، يا مؤنسي
يا صاحبي في شدتي، يا مؤنسي في وحدتي، يا حافظي في غربتي، يا كاشف كربتي، يا سامع دعوتي، يا راحم عبرتي، يا مقيل عثرتي، يا ولي نعمتي، يامن لا تراه العيون، ولا تخالطه الظنون، ولا يصفه الواصفون، اجعل خير أعمارنا أواخرها، وخير أعمالنا خواتمها، وخير أيامنا يوم نلقاك، توفنا على كمال الإيمان وأنت راض، عنا برحمتك ياأرحم الراحمين.

إلهنا جودك دلنا عليك، وإحسانك قربنا
إلهنا جودك دلنا عليك، وإحسانك قربنا إليك، نشكو إليك ما لا يخفى عليك، ونسألك ما لا يعسر عليك، إذ علمك بحالنا يغني عن سؤالنا، يا مفرجا عن المكروب كربه فرج عنا ما نحن فيه، يا من ليس بغائب فننتظره، ولا بنائم فنوقظه، ولا بغافل فنذكره، ولا بعاجز فنمهله، ولا ببخيل فنترك سؤله، كفى بعلمك عن المقال، وانقطع الرجاء إلا منك، وسدت الطرق إلا إليك، ياصريخ المكروبين، يامجيب دعاء المضطرين، اكشف همنا وغمنا وكربنا فأنت تعلم ما نزل بنا.
Transliteration
Ilāhanā jūduka dallanā ʿalayka, wa iḥsānuka qarrabanā ilayka, nashkū ilayka mā lā yakhfā ʿalayka, wa nasʾaluka mā lā yaʿsuru ʿalayka, idh ʿilmuka biḥālinā yughnī ʿan suʾālinā, yā mufarrijan ʿani al-makrūbi karbahu farrij ʿannā mā naḥnu fīhi, yā man laysa bighāʾibin fanantaẓirahu, wa lā bināʾimin fanūqiẓahu, wa lā bighāfilin fanudhakkirahu, wa lā biʿājizin fanumhilahu, wa lā bibakhīlin fanatruka suʾlahu, kafā biʿilmika ʿani al-maqāli, wanqaṭaʿa ar-rajāʾu illā minka, wa suddati aṭ-ṭuruqu illā ilayka, yā ṣarīkha al-makrūbīna, yā mujība duʿāʾi al-muḍṭarrīna, ikshif hammanā wa ghammanā wa karbanā faʾanta taʿlamu mā nazala binā.
English translation
Our God, Your generosity has guided us to You, and Your kindness has brought us near to You. We complain to You of what is not hidden from You and ask You for what is not difficult for You, for Your knowledge of our condition makes our asking unnecessary. O Reliever of the distressed person’s distress, relieve what we are enduring. O You who are not absent that we should await You, not asleep that we should awaken You, not heedless that we should remind You, not incapable that we should give You time, and not miserly that we should abandon asking You: Your knowledge suffices without speech. Hope is cut off except in You, and all paths are closed except to You. O Rescuer of the distressed, O Answerer of the prayers of the distressed, remove our worry, sorrow, and distress, for You know what has befallen us.

الاستعاذة من الهم والبلاء
اللهم إنا نعوذ بك من الهم والحزن، ونعوذ بك من العجز والكسل، ونعوذ بك من الجبن والبخل، ونعوذ بك من غلبة الدين، وقهر الرجال، ونعوذ بك من المأثم والمغرم، ونعوذ بك من الفضيحتين الفقر والدين، ونعوذ بك من شماتة الأعداء، وعضال الداء، وخيبة الرجاء، وزوال النعمة، وفجاءة النقمة، ومن سوء المنقلب.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innā naʿūdhu bika mina al-hammi wal-ḥazani, wa naʿūdhu bika mina al-ʿajzi wal-kasali, wa naʿūdhu bika mina al-jubni wal-bukhli, wa naʿūdhu bika min ghalabati ad-dayni, wa qahri ar-rijāli, wa naʿūdhu bika mina al-maʾthami wal-maghrami, wa naʿūdhu bika mina al-faḍīḥatayni al-faqri wad-dayni, wa naʿūdhu bika min shamātati al-aʿdāʾi, wa ʿuḍāli ad-dāʾi, wa khaybati ar-rajāʾi, wa zawāli an-niʿmati, wa fujāʾati an-niqmati, wa min sūʾi al-munqalab.

O Allah, we seek refuge in You from worry and sorrow. We seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness. We seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness. We seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by others. We seek refuge in You from sin and debt. We seek refuge in You from the two disgraces of poverty and debt. We seek refuge in You from enemies rejoicing at our misfortune, incurable illness, disappointed hope, the loss of blessing, sudden punishment, and an evil return.

اللهم إنا نعوذ من الفقر إلا إليك، ومن الذل إلا لك، ومن الخوف إلا منك، ونعوذ بك أن نقول زورا، أو نغشى فجورا، أو نكون بك مغرورين.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innā naʿūdhu mina al-faqri illā ilayka, wa mina adh-dhulli illā laka, wa mina al-khawfi illā minka, wa naʿūdhu bika an naqūla zūran, aw naghshā fujūran, aw nakūna bika maghrūrīn.
English translation
O Allah, we seek refuge from need except towards You, from humility except before You, and from fear except of You. We seek refuge in You from speaking falsehood, committing wickedness, or being deluded concerning You.

O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the hardship of affliction, being overtaken by misery, and an evil decree. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the evil of what we know and what we do not know, and the evil of what we have done and what we have not done. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the loss of Your blessing, the change of the well-being You grant, the sudden arrival of Your punishment, and all Your displeasure. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from a bad neighbour in a permanent home, for a neighbour in the desert moves away. We seek refuge in You from hunger, for it is an evil bedfellow, and betrayal, for it is an evil inner companion. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from an evil day, an evil night, an evil hour, and an evil companion. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from discord, hypocrisy, and bad character.

O Allah, we seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your anger, and in Your protection from Your punishment. We seek refuge in You from You. We cannot enumerate praise of You; You are as You have praised Yourself. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from trials, both apparent and hidden. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray, slipping or being made to slip, wronging others or being wronged, acting ignorantly or being treated ignorantly. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that is not humble, an eye that does not shed tears, a soul that is never satisfied, and a supplication that is not answered. Allāhumma ajirnā mina an-nāri, wa ajir wālidaynā mina an-nāri, wa adkhilnā al-jannata maʿa al-abrāri, bikaramika yā ʿAzīzu yā Ghaffāru yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn.
English translation
O Allah, protect us from the Fire, protect our parents from the Fire, and admit us to Paradise with the righteous, through Your generosity, O Almighty, O Oft-Forgiving, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, keep us alive while life is better for us, and cause us to die with complete faith while You are pleased with us when death is better for us. Make life an increase for us in every good, and make death a relief for us from every evil.

Allāhumma innā nasʾaluka ʿilman nāfiʿan, wa qalban khāshiʿan, wa lisānan dhākiran shākiran, wa rizqan ḥalālan ṭayyiban wāsiʿan, wa ʿamalan mutaqabbalan, wa shifāʾan min kulli dāʾin, wa murāfaqata sayyidi al-anbiyāʾi ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam.
English translation
O Allah, we ask You for beneficial knowledge, a humble heart, a tongue that remembers and gives thanks, lawful, wholesome, abundant provision, accepted deeds, healing from every disease, and the companionship of the master of the prophets, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

O Allah, we ask You by Your most beautiful names and exalted attributes. We ask You by Your great, greatest name, by which, when You are called upon, You answer, and when You are asked, You give; and by the names with which Your prophets, messengers, and righteous servants called upon You, to forgive all of us on this night. English translation
O Allah, protect us, our families, our spouses, our descendants, our sons and daughters, our brothers and sisters, our neighbours, our loved ones, and those with us, with the protection by which You have preserved the wise Reminder. O Allah, O Hearer of the voice, O You who act before an opportunity is lost, O You who clothe bones with flesh after death, O You who do not turn away Your petitioner or disappoint a servant’s means of seeking You, O You whose command is between the letters kaf and nun, O You who, when You say to a thing “Be,” it is: we have stretched out to You the palms of supplication, seeking nearness to You through the deeds You love most and through what the possessor of the special station and intercession used to seek nearness to You, asking You to grant victory to Islam and the Muslims and exalt, O our Protector, the word of faith, truth, and religion. O Allah, have mercy on our deceased and the deceased Muslims who testified to Your oneness and to Your Prophet’s message and died upon that. O Allah, show them abundant mercy, honour them and honour their reception, widen their entrance, make their graves spacious, make them gardens from the gardens of Paradise rather than pits from the pits of the Fire, and admit them through a noble entrance.

O Comforter of every lonely person, O Present One who is never absent, comfort their loneliness, have mercy on their estrangement, and prompt them with their answer. Distance them from the Fire as You have distanced heaven from earth. Wash them with water, snow, and hail, and cleanse them of their sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. O Allah, recompense their good deeds with good, and their bad deeds with pardon and forgiveness, so that they are at peace within their graves and secure when the witnesses stand. O Allah, move them from the narrowness of burial niches and the feeding grounds of worms into the gardens of everlasting life: amid thornless lote trees, layered banana trees, extended shade, flowing water, abundant fruit that is neither discontinued nor withheld, and elevated couches, upon facing thrones.

O Allah, forgive our sins, calm our fears, cover our vulnerabilities, and secure us from fear on the Day of the Greatest Terror. O Allah, to You we complain of our weak strength, our limited means, and our low standing among people. O Lord of the weak, O God of all worlds, to whom do You leave us? To an enemy who meets us with hostility, or to a friend to whom You have given power over us? If You are not angry with us, we do not mind, though Your well-being is more expansive for us. We seek refuge in the light of Your face, by which the heavens are illuminated, darkness shines, and the affairs of this world and the Hereafter are set right, from Your anger settling upon us or Your displeasure descending upon us. To You belongs our seeking Your favour until You are pleased. O Allah, make this gathering of ours a gathering shown mercy, and our parting after it a blessed, protected parting. O Allah, leave no one among us or with us wretched, expelled, or deprived. Grant the wicked among us to the righteous, the negligent to the diligent, and the wrongdoers to those who do good. If there is no righteous person among us, grant us all entrance to the realm of Your pardon, generosity, and forgiveness, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, we ask You for guidance, righteousness, chastity, and self-sufficiency. We ask You for well-being and gratitude for it. O Allah, make Your lawful provision suffice us against what You have forbidden, Your obedience against disobedience to You, and Your bounty against anyone besides You. O Allah, keep us, our sons, our daughters, our wives, and our families away from indecencies, both apparent and hidden. O Allah, make faith beloved to us and beautify it in our hearts. O Allah, accept from us and accept us, grant us well-being and pardon us, and do not leave us to anyone besides You. Do not give us a need for a base person. Keep us safe from the evil of all Your creation, and grant us victory over Your enemies and our enemies. اللهم اقسم لنا من خشيتك ما تحول به بيننا وبين معاصيك، ومن طاعتك ما تبلغنا به جنتك، ومن اليقين ما تهون به علينا مصائب الدنيا، ومتعنا اللهم بأسماعنا وأبصارنا وقواتنا أبدا ما أحييتنا، واجعله الوارث منا، واجعل ثأرنا على من ظلمنا، ولا تجعل مصيبتنا في ديننا، ولا إلى النار مصيرنا، واجعل الجنة هي دارنا.
Transliteration
Allāhumma iqsim lanā min khashyatika mā taḥūlu bihi baynanā wa bayna maʿāṣīka, wa min ṭāʿatika mā tuballighunā bihi jannataka, wa mina al-yaqīni mā tuhawwinu bihi ʿalaynā maṣāʾiba ad-dunyā, wa mattiʿnā Allāhumma biʾasmāʿinā wa abṣārinā wa quwātinā abadan mā aḥyaytanā, wajʿalhu al-wāritha minnā, wajʿal thaʾranā ʿalā man ẓalamanā, wa lā tajʿal muṣībatanā fī dīninā, wa lā ilā an-nāri maṣīranā, wajʿali al-jannata hiya dāranā.
English translation
O Allah, grant us such fear of You as will stand between us and disobedience to You, such obedience to You as will bring us to Your Paradise, and such certainty as will make the calamities of this world easier for us. O Allah, let us enjoy our hearing, our sight, and our strength for as long as You keep us alive, and preserve them until the end of our lives. Let our retribution fall upon those who wrong us. Do not let our calamity be in our religion or our final destination be the Fire, and make Paradise our home.

English translation
O Allah, O Turner of hearts and eyes, make our hearts firm upon Your religion. Grant us the ability to preserve Your trust and act upon Your Book and the way of Your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. O Allah, give Satan no way over us.

English translation
O Allah, prepare right guidance for us in our affairs. Make us among Your fortunate servants and among those who are guided by You and then guide others. Do not lead us astray after guidance, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, You are Pardoning, Generous, and love pardon, so pardon us and the Muslims. O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy, and You make difficulty easy if You will. Make our affairs easy, open for us the openings of those who know You, open the hearing of our hearts to Your remembrance, and employ us in what makes You pleased with us. Grant us knowledge, acting upon it, and sincerity in it, O Possessor of Majesty and Honour.

Aʿūdhu biwajhi Allāhi al-ʿAẓīmi alladhī laysa shayʾun aʿẓama minhu, wa bikalimāti Allāhi at-tāmmāti allatī lā yujāwizuhunna barrun wa lā fājirun, min sharri mā khalaqa wa dharaʾa wa baraʾa, wa min sharri mā yanzilu mina as-samāʾi wa mā yaʿruju fīhā, wa min sharri mā yaliju fī al-arḍi wa mā yakhruju minhā, wa min sharri ṭawāriqi al-layli wan-nahāri, illā ṭāriqan yaṭruqu bikhayrin yā Raḥmān. Aʿūdhu bikalimāti Allāhi at-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.
English translation
I seek refuge in the magnificent face of Allah, than whom nothing is greater, and in Allah’s perfect words, which neither the righteous nor the wicked can surpass, from the evil of what He has created, brought forth, and originated; from the evil of what descends from heaven and what ascends into it; from the evil of what enters the earth and what emerges from it; and from the evil of the visitors of night and day, except a visitor who comes with good, O Most Merciful. Bismi Allāhi dhī ash-shaʾni, ʿaẓīmi as-sulṭāni, shadīdi al-burhāni, qawiyyi al-arkāni, mā shāʾa Allāhu kāna, wa mā lam yashaʾ lam yakun aʿūdhu billāhi min kulli shayṭānin, mina al-insi wal-jānn.
English translation
In the name of Allah, Possessor of high standing, great authority, compelling proof, and firm foundations. Whatever Allah wills comes to be, and whatever He does not will does not come to be. I seek refuge in Allah from every devil among humans and jinn.

O Allah, through You we enter the morning and through You we enter the evening; through You we live and through You we die, and to You is the resurrection. O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Sovereign of everything: I testify that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self, the evil of Satan and his association of partners with You, and from bringing evil upon myself or bringing it upon a Muslim. Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Our Lord, accept from us; You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. Accept our repentance; You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful. Our Lord, pour patience upon us, make our feet firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people. English translation
Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. You are indeed the Bestower. Our Lord, You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Allah never breaks His promise. Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down and follow the Messenger, so record us among those who bear witness. Our Lord, You did not create this in vain. Glory be to You, so protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Our Lord, whoever You admit to the Fire, You have indeed disgraced, and the wrongdoers have no helpers. Our Lord, we have heard a caller calling to faith: “Believe in your Lord,” and we have believed. Our Lord, forgive our sins, erase our misdeeds, and cause us to die among the righteous. Transliteration
Laʾin lam yarḥamnā rabbunā wa yaghfir lanā lanakūnanna mina al-khāsirīna ʿalā Allāhi tawakkalnā rabbanā lā tajʿalnā fitnatan lil-qawmi aẓ-ẓālimīn. Rabbanā ātinā min ladunka raḥmatan wa hayyiʾ lanā min amrinā rashadan rabbanā āmannā faghfir lanā warḥamnā wa anta arḥamu ar-rāḥimīn.
English translation
If our Lord does not have mercy on us and forgive us, we will certainly be among the losers. Upon Allah we have relied. Our Lord, do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people. English translation
Our Lord, turn the punishment of Hell away from us; its punishment is indeed unrelenting. It is indeed an evil place to settle and dwell. Our Lord, grant us delight in our spouses and descendants, and make us an example for the righteous. Our Lord, You encompass all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your path, and protect them from the punishment of the Blaze. Our Lord, admit them to the Gardens of lasting residence which You have promised them, and those who are righteous among their fathers and descendants. You are the Almighty, the All-Wise. Protect them from evil deeds. Whoever You protect from evil deeds on that Day, You have indeed shown mercy to him, and that is the great triumph. Our Lord, remove the punishment from us; we are believers. Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any resentment towards those who believe. Rabbi hab lī min ladunka dhurriyyatan ṭayyibatan innaka samīʿu ad-duʿāʾi rabbi ighfir lī wa liʾakhī wa adkhilnā fī raḥmatika wa anta arḥamu ar-rāḥimīna rabbi innī aʿūdhu bika an asʾalaka mā laysa lī bihi ʿilmun wa illā taghfir lī wa tarḥamnī akun mina al-khāsirīn. Rabbi ijʿalnī muqīma aṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyatī rabbanā wa taqabbal duʿāʾa, rabbanā ighfir lī wa liwālidayya wa lil-muʾminīna yawma yaqūmu al-ḥisābu rabbi adkhilnī mudkhala ṣidqin wa akhrijnī mukhraja ṣidqin wajʿal lī min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīran rabbi anzilnī munzalan mubārakan wa anta khayru al-munzilīn.
English translation
My Lord, grant me good offspring from Yourself; You hear supplication. My Lord, forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your mercy; You are the Most Merciful of the merciful. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You for what I have no knowledge of. Unless You forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be among the losers. My Lord, make me one who establishes prayer, and also from my descendants. Our Lord, accept my supplication. Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the reckoning takes place. My Lord, admit me through a truthful entrance, bring me out through a truthful exit, and grant me supporting authority from Yourself. My Lord, settle me in a blessed place, for You are the best to settle people.

O Allah, we seek Your help and Your forgiveness, praise You with good, and do not deny You. We renounce and abandon those who disobey You. O Allah, You alone we worship; to You we pray and prostrate; towards You we strive and hasten. We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment. Transliteration
Allāhumma innā nastaʿīnuka wa nastaghfiruka wa nuthnī ʿalayka al-khayra, wa lā nakfuruka, wa nakhlaʿu wa natruku man yafjuruka, Allāhumma iyyāka naʿbudu, wa laka nuṣallī wa nasjudu, wa ilayka nasʿā wa naḥfidu, narjū raḥmataka, wa nakhshā ʿadhābaka, inna ʿadhābaka bil-kuffāri mulḥiq.
English translation
O Allah, we seek Your help and Your forgiveness, praise You with good, and do not deny You. We renounce and abandon those who disobey You. O Allah, You alone we worship; to You we pray and prostrate; towards You we strive and hasten. We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment. Your punishment will indeed overtake the disbelievers.

O Allah, we seek Your forgiveness and ask You for rain. O Allah, we seek Your forgiveness; You are ever Oft-Forgiving. Send the sky upon us with abundant rain. O Allah, give us beneficial, gentle rain through which You increase our gratitude. Grant us provision of faith and sustenance of faith; Your giving has never been restricted. O Allah, water Your servants and Your lands, revive Your animals, and spread Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, send down upon our land its springtime, and send down upon our land its tranquillity. Provide for us from the blessings of the heavens and the earth; You are the best of providers. O Allah, give us rescuing, widespread rain soon rather than late, beneficial rather than harmful, through which You lower our prices, increase our provision, and bestow Your favour upon our desert dwellers and town dwellers. Transliteration
Allāhumma ighfir lahu warḥamhu, waʿfu ʿanhu wa ʿāfihi, wa akrim nuzulahu, wa wassiʿ mudkhalahu, waghsilhu bimāʾin wa thaljin wa baradin, wa naqqihi mina al-khaṭāyā kamā yunaqqā ath-thawbu al-abyaḍu mina ad-danasi, wa abdilhu dāran khayran min dārihi, wa ahlan khayran min ahlihi, wa zawjan khayran min zawjihi, wa qihi fitnata al-qabri wa ʿadhāba an-nār.
English translation
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, pardon him, grant him well-being, honour his reception, and widen his entrance. Wash him with water, snow, and hail, and cleanse him of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Replace his home with a better home, his family with a better family, and his spouse with a better spouse. Protect him from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the Fire.

Transliteration
Allāhumma ijʿalhu faraṭan liʾabawayhi wa salafan wa dhukhran wa ʿiẓatan wa iʿtibāran wa shafīʿan, wa thaqqil bihi mawāzīnahumā, wa afrighi aṣ-ṣabra ʿalā qulūbihimā, wa lā taftinhumā baʿdahu, wa lā taḥrimhumā ajrah.
English translation
O Allah, make him one who goes ahead of his parents, a predecessor, a stored reward, a lesson, a reminder, and an intercessor. Make their scales heavy through him, pour patience upon their hearts, do not subject them to trial after him, and do not deprive them of his reward.

Allāhumma anta rabbuhā, wa anta khalaqtahā, wa anta hadaytahā lil-Islāmi, wa anta qabaḍta rūḥahā, wa anta aʿlamu bihā wa bisirrihā wa ʿalāniyatihā, jiʾnā shufaʿāʾa faghfir lah.
English translation
O Allah, You are her Lord, You created her, You guided her to Islam, You took her soul, and You know her best, her secret and her public affairs. We have come as intercessors, so forgive him.

O Allah, this is Your servant and the son of Your servant. He has left the comfort and spaciousness of this world, what he loved and his loved ones within it, for the darkness of the grave and what he will encounter. He used to testify that there is no god but You and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger, and You know him best. O Allah, he has come to You, and You are the best host. He has become in need of Your mercy, while You have no need to punish him. We have come to You desiring You and interceding for him. O Allah, if he did good, increase his good; if he did wrong, overlook him. Grant him, through Your mercy, Your pleasure. Protect him from the trial and punishment of the grave, make his grave spacious, and keep the earth away from his sides. English translation
In the name of Allah is its course and its anchoring. My Lord is indeed All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
