Transliteration
Allāhumma rādda aḍ-ḍāllati, wa hādiya aḍ-ḍāllati, tahdī mina aḍ-ḍalālati, urdud ʿalayya ḍāllatī biqudratika wa sulṭānika; faʾinnahā min ʿaṭāʾika wa faḍlik.
English translation
O Allah, Returner of what is lost, Guide of the lost, You guide away from misguidance. Return my lost property to me by Your power and authority, for it is from Your giving and bounty.

الزوج الصالح
اللهم ارزقني بالزوج الذي هو خير لي وأنا خير له في ديننا ودنيانا ومعاشنا وعاقبة أمرنا عاجله وآجله.
Transliteration
Allāhumma urzuqnī biz-zawji alladhī huwa khayrun lī wa anā khayrun lahu fī dīninā wa dunyānā wa maʿāshinā wa ʿāqibati amrinā ʿājilihi wa ājilih.
English translation
O Allah, grant me a spouse who is good for me and for whom I am good in our religion, our worldly life, our livelihood, and the outcome of our affairs, immediate and later.

اللهم إني أسألك بأني أشهد أنك أنت الذي لا إله إلا أنت، الأحد الصمد الذي لم يلد ولم يولد ولم يكن له كفوا أحد، اقض حاجتي، وآنس وحدتي، وفرج كربتي، واجعل لي رفيقا صالحا كي نسبحك كثيرا ونذكرك كثيرا، فأنت بي بصيرا.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innī asʾaluka biʾannī ashhadu annaka anta alladhī lā ilāha illā anta, al-Aḥadu aṣ-Ṣamadu alladhī lam yalid wa lam yūlad wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥadun, iqḍi ḥājatī, wa ānis waḥdatī, wa farrij kurbatī, wajʿal lī rafīqan ṣāliḥan kay nusabbiḥaka kathīran wa nadhkuraka kathīran, faʾanta bī baṣīrā.
English translation
O Allah, I ask You by my testimony that You are the One besides whom there is no god, the Unique, the Eternal Refuge, who has neither begotten nor been born, and to whom no one is equal. Fulfil my need, comfort my solitude, relieve my distress, and grant me a righteous companion so that we may glorify You abundantly and remember You abundantly. You see me.

اللهم يا مسخر القوي للضعيف ومسخر الجن والريح لنبينا سليمان، ومسخر الطير والحديد لنبينا داود، ومسخر النار لنبينا إبراهيم، اللهم سخر لي زوجا يخافك يا رب العالمين بحولك وقوتك وعزتك وقدرتك، أنت القادر على ذلك وحدك لا شريك لك، اللهم يا حنان يا منان يا ذا الجلال والإكرام يا بديع السماوات والأرض يا حي يا قيوم.
O Allah, O You who subject the strong to the weak, who subjected the jinn and the wind to our prophet Solomon, the birds and iron to our prophet David, and the fire to our prophet Abraham: O Allah, grant me a husband who fears You, O Lord of all worlds, by Your power, strength, might, and ability. Transliteration
Allāhumma innī asʾaluka bikhawfī min an aqaʿa bil-ḥarāmi, wa biḥifẓī lijawāriḥī, wa asʾaluka yā rabbi biṣāliḥi aʿmālī an tarzuqanī zawjan ṣāliḥan yuʿīnunī fī umūri dīnī wa dunyāya faʾinnaka ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.
English translation
O Allah, I ask You by my fear of falling into what is forbidden and by my guarding my limbs. I ask You, my Lord, by my righteous deeds, to grant me a righteous husband who helps me in the affairs of my religion and worldly life, for You have power over all things.

اللهم إني أعوذ بك من بواري وتأخر زواجي وبطئه وقعودي، وأسألك أن ترزقني خيرا مما أستحق كزوج ومما آمل، وأن تقنعه وأهله بي وتقنعني وأهلي به.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min bawārī wa taʾakhkhuri zawājī wa buṭʾihi wa quʿūdī, wa asʾaluka an tarzuqanī khayran mimmā astaḥiqqu kazawjin wa mimmā āmulu, wa an tuqniʿahu wa ahlahu bī wa tuqniʿanī wa ahlī bih.
English translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being unwanted, the delay and slowness of my marriage, and remaining unmarried. I ask You to grant me a husband better than I deserve and better than I hope for, and to make him and his family content with me, and me and my family content with him.

الشكوى إلى الله
اللهم إليك أشكو ضعف قوتي، وقلة حيلتي، وهواني على الناس، يا رب العالمين، أنت رب المستضعفين، وأنت أرحم الراحمين، وأنت ربي، إلى من تكلني إلى بعيد يتجهمني أم عدو ملكته أمري؟ إن لم يكن بك غضب علي فلا أبالي غير أن عافيتك هي أوسع لي، أعوذ بنور وجهك الذي أشرقت له الظلمات، وصلح عليه أمر الدنيا والآخرة، أن يحل علي غضبك، أو أن ينزل بي سخطك، لك العتبى حتى ترضى.
Transliteration
Allāhumma ilayka ashkū ḍaʿfa quwwatī, wa qillata ḥīlatī, wa hawānī ʿalā an-nāsi, yā rabba al-ʿālamīna, anta rabbu al-mustaḍʿafīna, wa anta arḥamu ar-rāḥimīna, wa anta rabbī, ilā man takilunī ilā baʿīdin yatajahhamunī am ʿaduwwin mallaktahu amrī, in lam yakun bika ghaḍabun ʿalayya fa lā ubālī ghayra anna ʿāfiyataka hiya awsaʿu lī, aʿūdhu binūri wajhika alladhī ashraqat lahu aẓ-ẓulumātu, wa ṣalaḥa ʿalayhi amru ad-dunyā wal-ākhirati, an yaḥilla ʿalayya ghaḍabuka, aw an yanzila bī sakhaṭuka, laka al-ʿutbā ḥattā tarḍā.
English translation
O Allah, to You I complain of my weak strength, my limited means, and my low standing among people. O Lord of all worlds, You are Lord of the weak, You are the Most Merciful of the merciful, and You are my Lord. To whom do You leave me: to a distant person who meets me with hostility, or an enemy to whom You have given power over my affairs? If You are not angry with me, I do not mind, though Your well-being is more expansive for me. I seek refuge in the light of Your face, by which darkness shines and the affairs of this world and the Hereafter are set right, from Your anger settling upon me or Your displeasure descending upon me. To You belongs my seeking Your favour until You are pleased.

اللهم إني عبدك، وابن عبدك وابن أمتك، ناصيتي بيدك، ماض في حكمك، عدل في قضاؤك، أسألك بكل اسم هو لك سميت به نفسك أو أنزلته في كتابك أو علمته أحدا من خلقك، أو استأثرت به في علم الغيب عندك، أن تجعل القرآن ربيع قلبي، ونور صدري، وجلاء حزني، وذهاب همي. اللهم يسر أمري واشرح صدري وارزقني الزواج عاجلا غير آجل.
Transliteration
Allāhumma innī ʿabduka, wabnu ʿabdika wabnu amatika, nāṣiyatī biyadika, māḍin fiyya ḥukmuka, ʿadlun fiyya qaḍāʾuka, asʾaluka bikulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka aw anzaltahu fī kitābika aw ʿallamtahu aḥadan min khalqika, aw istaʾtharta bihi fī ʿilmi al-ghaybi ʿindaka, an tajʿala al-Qurʾāna rabīʿa qalbī, wa nūra ṣadrī, wa jalāʾa ḥuznī, wa dhahāba hammī. Allāhumma yassir amrī washraḥ ṣadrī warzuqnī az-zawāja ʿājilan ghayra ājil.
English translation
O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant and the son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment over me prevails, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You with which You have named Yourself, or which You have revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur’an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the removal of my sorrow, and the departure of my worry. O Allah, make my affairs easy, expand my chest, and grant me marriage soon rather than late.

Allāhumma urzuqnī az-zawjata aṣ-ṣāliḥata allatī in amartuhā aṭāʿatnī, wa in naẓartu ilayhā sarratnī, wa in aqsamtu ʿalayhā abarratnī, wa in ghibtu ʿanhā ḥafiẓatnī fī nafsihā wa mālī.
English translation
O Allah, grant me a righteous wife who obeys me when I instruct her, delights me when I look at her, fulfils my oath when I adjure her, and safeguards me in herself and my wealth when I am absent from her.

O Allah, O You who are aware of all our states, fulfil all our needs, overlook all our misdeeds and slips, accept all our good deeds, and forgive us. Transliteration

O Allah, I ask You by the prayer of the companion of the fish on the day he called upon You in three darknesses: the darkness of night, the darkness of the sea, and the darkness of the fish’s belly. Allāhumma bilaṭīfi ṣunʿika fī at-taskhīri wa khafiyyi luṭfika fī at-taysīri ulṭuf bī wa yassir lī amra az-zawāji wa tammimhu bikhayrin wa luṭfin, waṣrif ʿannī as-sūʾa wash-sharra innaka ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.
English translation
O Allah, through Your gentle action in subjecting things and Your hidden kindness in making things easy, show me kindness, make marriage easy for me, and complete it with goodness and kindness. Turn evil and harm away from me; You have power over all things.

O Allah, I ask You for unexpected good and seek refuge in You from unexpected evil, for a servant does not know what will surprise him when he enters the morning or the evening.

O Allah, those reluctant to part with him among his family, children, relatives, and brothers have handed him over to You. He has parted from those whose nearness he loved, left the spaciousness of this world and life for the darkness and narrowness of the grave, and come to You, and You are the best host. If You punish him, it is for a sin; if You pardon him, You are worthy of pardon. You have no need to punish him, while he is in need of Your mercy. O Allah, appreciate his good deed, forgive his bad deed, protect him from the punishment of the grave, and gather for him, through Your mercy, safety from Your punishment. Spare him every terror before Paradise. English translation
O Allah, forgive our deceased and the deceased Muslims who testified to Your oneness and to Your Prophet’s message and died upon that. O Allah, have mercy on them, honour their reception, widen their entrance, and wash them with water, snow, and hail. Cleanse them of sins and misdeeds as a white garment is cleansed of dirt, and distance them from the Fire by the distance between east and west.

O Allah, move them from the narrowness of burial niches and the feeding grounds of worms into the gardens of everlasting life: amid thornless lote trees, layered banana trees, extended shade, flowing water, abundant fruit that is neither discontinued nor withheld, and elevated couches, upon facing thrones.

اللهم آمن روعاتهم، واغفر زلاتهم، ونقهم من الذنوب والخطايا، كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس، وباعد بينهم وبين الخطايا كما باعدت بين السماء والأرض، واغسلهم بالماء والثلج والبرد، وأظلهم تحت ظل عرشك يوم لا ظل إلا ظله، واسقهم من حوض نبيك صلى الله عليه وسلم ومن يده الشريفة شربة هنيئة مريئة لا يظمأون بعدها يا رب العالمين.
Transliteration
Allāhumma āmin rawʿātihim, waghfir zallātihim, wa naqqihim mina adh-dhunūbi wal-khaṭāyā, kamā yunaqqā ath-thawbu al-abyaḍu mina ad-danasi, wa bāʿid baynahum wa bayna al-khaṭāyā kamā bāʿadta bayna as-samāʾi wal-arḍi, waghsilhum bil-māʾi wath-thalji wal-baradi, wa aẓillhum taḥta ẓilli ʿarshika yawma lā ẓilla illā ẓilluhu, wasqihim min ḥawḍi nabiyyika ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallama wa min yadihi ash-sharīfati sharbatan hanīʾatan marīʾatan lā yaẓmaʾūna baʿdahā yā rabba al-ʿālamīn.
English translation
O Allah, calm their fears, forgive their slips, and cleanse them of sins and misdeeds as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Distance them from sins as You have distanced heaven from earth. Wash them with water, snow, and hail. Shade them beneath the shade of Your Throne on the Day when there is no shade but its shade. Give them from the Pool of Your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and from his noble hand a pleasant, wholesome drink after which they will not thirst, O Lord of all worlds.
